International Center for Wireless Collaborative Research (Shanghai Research Center for Wireless Communications) enjoys a young, vigorous, well-educated and creative research team. At present it has over 60 employees, among whom are 6 professors, over 20 with doctoral degree, 30 or more with master's degree. Also, there are around 10 post-doctoral researchers, and 25 graduate students working here every year.
Besides, it boasts a managing group with excellent educational background, rich research and management experience, broad international horizons and most importantly, great enthusiasm and dedication towards wireless communications.

 
Executive Vice Chairman & Legal Representative
was born in Jilin in April 1964. He worked as a teaching assistant at his Alma Master left behind to be a teacher in Wuhan University after graduation in July, 1983. He majored in material science and got his master and PhD degrees at No.7 Paris University, France, and did postdoctoral work there after graduation. From 1992 to 2000 he was associate researcher, researcher, assistant director, vice director (from October 1997), PhD supervisor at the Institute of Semiconductor, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He once held vice director, director of the State Key Laboratory of Semiconductor Super lattice. He became vice director, researcher and PhD supervisor of Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (formerly Shanghai Institute of Metallurgy), CAS in January, 2001, and has been director since May 2002. He is also director of Microsystem R&D Center, CAS, expert of National “863” Program and member of the expert team of National “973” Program. fengsl@mail.sim.ac.cn


Prof. Feng Songlin
 
Director
was born in August, 1962. He specialized in signal, circuit and system and earned PhD degree at Southeast University in 1988. At present he is professor and PhD supervisor, and director of the State Key Laboratory of Mobile Communications at Southeast University, specially-engaged professor under Changjiang Scholars Program, dean of the Department of Radio Engineering. He was awarded as the state-level middle-aged and young experts with outstanding contributions, one of the first group of cross-century young experts selected by the Ministry of Education. He has long engaged in the teaching and research of mobile communications and signal processing, and has undertaken over 10 state-level projects related to mobile communications. So far he has published 2 books in English or in Chinese, and 20 plus papers in IEEE Transactions and other internationally authoritative journals, which have been cited for nearly 100 times. He put forward a set of theory of CDMA spread spectrum receiving based on multidiameter energy and has applied for 9 invention patents. In 1999, he became head of the experts’ team for National 3G Mobile Communications system R&D Project. In 2001 he was made to take charge of the National B3G/4G Project. Prof. You is now member of Chinese Electronics Society, member of Compiling Committee of Electronics Transactions, member of the experts’ team for National “863” Communications Project, vice director of working committee of young workers for China Communications Society.

Prof. You Xiaohu
 
Managing Vice Director
Bu Zhiyong was born in October 23, 1970. He studied in the State Key Laboratory of Mobile Communications at Southeast University (SEU) from 1996 to 1999 and won his PhD degree. During this period, he made deep research into wireless communications theories and modern mobile communications technologies, and published a number of papers with high academic level in either core journals or important international conferences. What’s more, he participated in the joint research project between the Laboratory and Nokia, and achieved valuable results. After that he carried out postdoctoral research in Nokia Mobile Phone Company, Finland till 2000. From 2001 to 2002, he served as chief engineer in Qingdao Hisence Communications Co., Ltd...Since 2002 he has worked as a researcher in Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, CAS (SIMIT), and currently is executive vice director of Shanghai Research Center for Wireless Communications. Years’ collaboration research has helped him not only to improve his expertise but also to become experienced in negotiation for international collaboration. He has exhibited his outstanding organizing, managing, coordinating skills in his work for the joint establishment of the wireless communications research center between SIMIT and SEU and has made great contributions to the set-up of Shanghai Research Center for Wireless Communications.
